Marika Garland

Marika Garland has extensive experience in technical writing and communications, currently serving as the Technical Writing Team Lead at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago since June 2012. Marika has held various roles within the organization, including Technical Writer, Senior Marketing Communications Consultant, and Marketing Communications Professional. Prior to this, Marika worked as a Writing Tutor at Kenyon College Writing Center and was the Editor-in-Chief of The Kenyon Collegian. Marika also gained valuable experience as an Internal Communications Intern at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and the Kenyon College Math Department. Marika's educational background includes a Master of Science in Communication from Northwestern University, a Professional Sequence in Technical and Scientific Communication from UC Berkeley Extension, and a B.A. in Honors English with a minor in Mathematics from Kenyon College.
