Nitzan Tzur-Ilan is a Research Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas since August 2021, previously serving as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management from July 2019 to July 2021 and as a Research Economist at the Bank of Israel from January 2014 to March 2021. Nitzan's expertise encompasses Household Finance, Real-Estate, Urban Economics, and Macroprudential Policy. Academic contributions include lecturing on Real-Estate Finance at Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 2012 to 2017 and conducting research at the Gazit Globe Real Estate Institute from March 2012 to June 2015. Nitzan has also held the role of Economist at Bank Hapoalim from January 2008 to March 2010. Educational credentials consist of a Postgraduate Degree in Finance from Northwestern University, a Ph.D. in Financial Regulation, Real-Estate, Household Finance, and Banking from Hebrew University of Jerusalem, an MBA in Finance, and a BA in Economics from the same institution.
