Katy Volk

Katy Volk, MBA, has extensive experience in consumer compliance and economic research, currently serving as a Consumer Compliance Bank Examiner at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City since 2015. In this role, Katy enforces federal consumer protection laws, assesses bank management of regulatory compliance risk, evaluates adherence to equal credit opportunity laws, and ensures banks meet community credit needs. Prior to this position, Katy worked as a Biologist at the USDA National Wildlife Research Center from 2003 to 2013, where involvement included economic research on human-wildlife conflicts and contributions to six published scientific manuscripts. Katy holds both a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) from Colorado State University.
