Luca van der Meer

Luca Van der Meer is a Macroeconomic Research Associate at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City since July 2022, following a role as a Research Assistant at Occidental College from February 2019 to June 2022, where extensive research on historical narrative macroeconomic projects was conducted. At Occidental College, Luca explored European regime shifts in the 1920s, examining responses to runaway currencies in Austria and Hungary. Additionally, Luca served as a Campus Tour Guide, providing engaging campus tours to prospective students, and worked as a Programming Coordinator focused on Leadership Development, designing trainings for campus club leaders and fostering leadership skills among students. Luca holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Occidental College, completed in 2022.
