Kim Smith has an extensive work experience, starting in 1998 at GMAC ResCap as Project Management and later as a Program/Project Manager. In 2007, they worked as a Program Manager at MoneyGram International before joining DBI in 2008 as a Sr. Program Manager. In 2009, they became a Program Director for FedACH at the Federal Reserve System. In 2015, they joined the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis as PMO Director, IT and later held various roles including AVP, Business Strategy, Program Delivery & Shared Business Services. Kim is currently serving as the Vice President of Information Technology at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis.
Kim Smith attended East Grand Forks Vocational Technical College from 1983 to 1985, where they studied Banking/Finance with a focus on Finance. They have also obtained additional certifications as a Business Relationship Management Professional and a Change Practitioner from an unspecified institution and Prosci, respectively.
