Alaina Barca is a Community Development Research Analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, with a focus on consumer finance research and economic policy. Since May 2020, Alaina has contributed to literature reviews, project proposals, and research papers. Previously, Alaina worked as a Research Assistant at Lebow College of Business, where significant projects included analyzing data on student financial aid and employing various statistical models. Alaina also gained experience at Econsult Solutions, preparing reports for economic consulting projects, and at Your Part-Time Controller, LLC, where data visualization and process automation were key responsibilities. Alaina holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Economics from Drexel University, complemented by minors in Business Administration and Business Analytics, and has further international experience from Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
