John Pearson, MSIS, has a diverse work experience in various roles related to data management, analytics, and technology implementation. John currently serves as the Lead Product Manager - Data Engineering & Integration at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, where they provide advisory and consulting services for data & analytics initiatives, focusing on cloud data governance, data management, data warehousing, integration, and privacy efforts. Prior to this, John was a Manager, Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence at CarMax, where they led a large team of professionals responsible for enterprise data delivery and analytics across multiple functions. John has also held positions such as Enterprise Data Services Manager at the Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Authority, Technology Architect at TechStar Tutors, and Business Intelligence Architect at the Federal Reserve System. John has gained expertise in various areas including database administration, application integration, web platform development, and technology start-up strategy. John holds a Master's degree in Information Systems.
