Daniel Long, MPA has a diverse work experience spanning from 2012 to 2023. Daniel started their career as a Reservations Agent at MGM Resorts International, where they handled high volumes of phone calls and provided exceptional customer service. In 2016, Daniel worked at Goodwin as a Records Associate, organizing sensitive legal documents and assisting with data migration. Daniel then joined Pacific Gas and Electric Company as a Senior Privacy Analyst, where they analyzed migrated documents and managed the migration of engineering drawings.
Daniel entered the United States Air Force in 2010 and held various roles such as Knowledge Operations Manager, Health Services Manager, and Senior Administrative Officer/Flight Commander. In these positions, they managed sensitive data, provided training, and ensured compliance with regulatory requirements.
Currently, Daniel is a Lead Information Management Analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. Prior to this role, they served as a Senior Information Management Analyst and a Records and Information Management Analyst. In their current and previous roles, Daniel has been responsible for managing and analyzing information, ensuring compliance, and providing expertise in records and information management.
Daniel Long, MPA holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, Cum Laude from Brigham Young University–Hawaii, obtained from 2003 to 2009. Daniel also earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) in Information Management from the Community College of the Air Force between 2011 and 2014. Furthermore, they obtained a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from California State University - East Bay from 2015 to 2017. In addition to their degrees, Daniel Long has acquired certifications such as Certified Electronic Health Records Specialist (CEHRS) from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services in August 2017, Administration, Craftsman (3F571) from the United States Air Force in August 2015, and Knowledge Operations Manager, Craftsman (3D071) from the United States Air Force in April 2014.
