Sr. Data Analytics Specialist, Team Lead at Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco

Jason Young has a diverse work background, beginning in 2013 at the University of California, Davis, where they worked as a Computer Applications Tutor. In 2014, they served as an Economic Research Assistant at the University of California Agricultural Issues Center. Starting in 2016, Jason began working at First Northern Bank, initially as a Credit Analyst for Commercial Loans and later as an Assistant Controller in Corporate Finance. In 2016, they also worked briefly as a Business Tax Accountant at Novogradac & Company LLP. In 2020, Jason joined the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco as a Sr. Data Analyst, and has since been promoted to roles including Data Analytics Specialist and Sr. Data Analytics Specialist, Team Lead.

Jason Young completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Managerial Economics at the University of California, Davis from 2012 to 2015. Jason then pursued Computer Science coursework at Foothill College from 2018 to 2020. Currently, Jason is earning their Master of Science (MS) in Computational Analytics (Machine Learning) at the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they are expected to complete in 2024. In terms of certifications, Jason obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation from the California Board of Accountancy in 2019 and the Credit Analysis Certificate Program from Hiperion Financial Training in 2017. Jason is also planning to obtain the Docker for Data Scientists certification from LinkedIn in 2023 and the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) designation from Scrum Alliance in 2022.
