Joubin Jabbari has extensive experience in cybersecurity and information security, currently serving as CISO and Principal Security Architect for FedNow at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco since July 2016. Prior roles include Sr. Information Security Architect and Software Security Engineer within the same organization. Joubin is also involved with the OWASP Foundation as Chapter Lead and a Member at Large on the Global Board since September 2019. Previous experience includes a Computer Scientist position at Naval Sea Systems Command, focusing on architectural design for distributed Java applications, a Cyber Security Engineer internship at MITRE, and a technician role at Apple. Joubin holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from California State University-Sacramento.
