Rita Aguilar

SVP, People & Culture at Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco

Rita Aguilar oversees the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco’s People + Culture group. As senior vice president, Rita drives meaningful change around people-first centered principles, with primary responsibility for the Bank’s people policies, programs, and operations. She is also a member of the SF Fed’s Management Committee—which implements policies and strategies on organizational improvements—and serves as the Bank’s Director of the Office of Minority and Women Inclusion.

Rita joined the Bank in 1988. She previously served as the SF Fed’s vice president of People + Inclusion and Diversity and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) officer, responsible for leading, designing, and championing diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity programs. Her previous roles at the SF Fed include Cash Services director and human resources manager.

Rita holds a bachelor of science degree in business from California State University, Los Angeles.
