Calvin Mitchell Jr has extensive experience in contracting and procurement management within federal government agencies. Most recently, from February 2020 to November 2023, Calvin served as Executive Director (HCA) at Federal Student Aid, U.S. Department of Education, where responsibilities included managing compliance and contract functions, overseeing a significant annual grant portfolio, and implementing financial assistance programs. Prior roles include Deputy Assistant Secretary, Director of the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, and Deputy Director of Contracts & Acquisitions Management, during which Calvin led initiatives to support small and disadvantaged businesses and managed complex acquisition processes.
