Jim Gordon has a diverse work experience spanning across various companies. Jim started as Member of the Technical Staff at AT&T Bell Laboratories in 1984 and later moved to Accenture as a Senior Consultant in 1989. In 1992, they joined JP Morgan Asset Management as VP, Head of Quant Research for US Equity. Finally, they joined Federated Investors in 2002, where they held several roles such as VP, SVP, and Head of various teams in Global Equity until 2017.
Jim Gordon completed their education with a Diploma with Honors from Phillips Exeter Academy in 1979. Jim then went on to earn a BS with Distinction in Applied and Engineering Physics from Cornell University in 1983, followed by an MEng in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering in 1984. Finally, Jim obtained an MBA with Honors in Finance/Business Policy from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 1989. Additionally, they hold a CFA certification from the CFA Institute.
