Patrick Brent Cooper

Patrick Brent Cooper is currently the Emerging Markets Investment Analyst for International Fixed Income at Federated Hermes, a position held since 2020. Prior experience includes serving as an Associate Analyst in the Sovereign Risk Group at Moody's Investors Service from 2014 to 2020, and as a Consultant at Guggenheim Partners in 2013. Additional roles encompass a Summer Analyst at Thura Swiss, a Researcher at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), and a Junior Associate at The Asia Foundation, all in 2011. Earlier experiences include Junior Adviser positions at both the Delegation of the European Union to the United Nations and the Delegation of the European Union to Indonesia, as well as a Trainee role at the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific in 2009. Patrick Brent Cooper holds a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and two Erasmus degrees from Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Toulouse and Université de Toulouse II - Le Mirail, as well as a Master in Political Sciences and a Bachelor in History from Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
