Rob Roman has over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. Rob currently holds the role of VP, Sales Eastern Canada at the Federated Insurance Company of Canada, where they have been since 2014. Prior to this, they held various positions within the company, including Director of Sales Eastern Canada and District Sales Manager.
Before joining Federated Insurance, Rob worked at Northbridge Insurance/Federated Insurance, where they served as the National Director of Claims Business Support and Director of Casualty Ontario & National Claims Process and Improvements.
Earlier in their career, Rob held several roles at the Federated Insurance Company of Canada, including Claims Technical Manager and Claims Adjuster. In these roles, they handled large and complex claims across Canada and led a team of senior claims staff.
Throughout their career, Rob has demonstrated expertise in sales, claims management, and insurance program development. Rob is licensed to sell a wide range of insurance products and has a strong understanding of commercial and personal insurance needs.
Rob Roman, FCIP, CRM has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the University of Toronto and a field of study in Human Resources Management from Seneca Polytechnic. Rob also holds additional certifications including CRM from an unspecified institution, Canadian Risk Management from RIMS (Risk and Insurance Management Society, Inc.), and is a Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional obtained from the Insurance Institute of Canada.
