Sandipan Das

Sandipan Das has a strong background in DevOps and SysOps engineering. Sandipan started their career at Citi as a System Engineer in July 2010 and worked in that role until December 2012. Sandipan then transitioned to the role of Senior DevOps Engineer at Citi and held that position until February 2017. Following their time at Citi, Sandipan joined Capital One as a Senior DevOps Engineer from February 2017 to August 2018. Sandipan then moved to Federated Wireless in August 2018 as a Lead DevOps/SysOps Engineer and was promoted to Senior Lead DevOps/SysOps Engineer (Manager) in July 2021. Sandipan further advanced their career at Federated Wireless and became the Director of SysOps and SRE in April 2022. Sandipan is currently working as the Director of Platform Engineering at Federated Wireless starting from March 2023.

Sandipan Das completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Physics at the University of Calcutta from 2004 to 2007. Afterwards, they pursued a Post Graduate Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering from the same university, from 2007 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Sandipan obtained certification as a PagerDuty Foundational Practitioner from PagerDuty in February 2022. Sandipan also acquired certifications as an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate and an AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate from Amazon Web Services, although the specific dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
