Vonetta Dotson, PhD, is a distinguished academic and professional with extensive experience in the fields of psychology and behavioral medicine. Currently serving as a Professor and Director at Georgia State University since January 2017, Vonetta also holds the position of Healthy Aging Impact Fellow with the Federation of American Scientists. As the Founder and President of CerebroFit since February 2019, Vonetta leads initiatives focused on healthy aging. Additionally, Vonetta has been a Senior Project Scientist for Behavioral Medicine at KBR, Inc./NASA since January 2020. Previously, Vonetta had a notable tenure as an Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at the University of Florida from August 2009 to December 2016 and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the National Institute on Aging from August 2006 to August 2009. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St. Mary's University and a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Florida. Active membership in the American Psychological Association since January 2009 further underscores Vonetta’s commitment to the field.
