Emily M Engelhard

Emily M Engelhard is a seasoned professional in research and evaluation, currently serving as Vice President of Research & Translation and Managing Director of Thought Leadership in Research at Feeding America since April 2009. Engelhard leads the development and implementation of research strategies to advance the goals of the nation's food bank network, promotes partnerships with academic institutions and nonprofits, and sets the strategic direction for research on food insecurity and related policies. Prior roles include managing director positions and leadership in significant studies like the Hunger in America study. Engelhard has a solid foundation in research, evidenced by earlier work at Kannon Consulting and the University of Chicago, and holds an MA in Social Sciences from the University of Chicago and a BA in Sociology from Emory University.
