Maryann Byrdak

Maryann Byrdak is the CIO at Feeding America. Maryann has held previous positions as Senior Director - IT Merger Integrations - Merchandising, Marketing, B2B, Store Systems, Pricing at Office Depot and CIO, Senior Vice President Information Technology at Potbelly Sandwich Works.

At Potbelly, Maryann defined a three-year technology and digital presence roadmap to move the company to a standardized, modernized, and innovative environment. Maryann was responsible for Potbelly’s technology footprint including corporate and franchise 500 restaurants nationwide and was a member of the executive team and CEO direct report. Maryann implemented industry best practices and methodologies for resource, project, and vendor management.

At Office Depot, Maryann was responsible for leading the merger integration efforts tied to $300M of annual synergy savings tied to Merchandising, COGS, Marketing, B2B, Store Systems (POS), Print Services, Master Data Management, Content Management, Pricing and Promotions. This included financial planning, business process redesign, system consolidation, retirement planning, 3rd party outsourcing, and customer management strategy.

Maryann Byrdak has a BS in Computer Science from Elmhurst University, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Information Management & Marketing from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and a certification from George Washington University in Masters in Project Management. Maryann also has executive education in Mergers & Acquisitions for Executives and Finance for Executives from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
