Rachel Dictor

Director, Learning Integration at Feeding America

Rachel Dictor has a range of experience in the education and nonprofit sectors. Rachel is currently serving as the Director of Learning Integration at Feeding America since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Everspring, where they held various roles, including Director of Instructional Design, Instructional Design Principal, Associate Director of Instructional Design, and Instructional Designer between 2017 and 2023. Rachel also has experience at DePaul University as a Writing Curriculum Coordinator & Instructor/Trainer, ESL Instructor, and ESL Instructor Intern from 2011 to 2017. Rachel has also worked as a TOEFL Writing Response Rater at Educational Testing Service (ETS) from 2014 to 2017. Rachel began their career as an Adjunct ESL Faculty at St. Augustine College in 2012.

Rachel Dictor has a diverse education history. In 2008, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Public Communication with a minor in Spanish from DePaul University. Rachel then pursued further studies and completed an M.A. in Applied Linguistics/TESOL at the University of Illinois Chicago from 2010 to 2012. In 2016 and 2017, Rachel engaged in coursework in Human Computer Interaction at DePaul University. Alongside their formal education, Rachel has obtained multiple certifications in various areas, such as instructional design, accessibility, and professional skills development. Notably, they became an IAAP Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) in July 2022.
