Tremaine Maebry has extensive experience in equity, diversity, and inclusion roles. From 2019, Tremaine served as the Vice President of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion at Feeding America, where they led the implementation of a national plan for EDI. Prior to that, Tremaine was the Senior Manager of EEO Programs at the Chicago Transit Authority, overseeing the organization's diversity, affirmative action, and equal employment opportunity initiatives. They also held the position of Manager of EEO/Diversity Initiatives at the Northeast Illinois Regional Commuter Railroad Corporation/Metra, managing department functions to ensure compliance with EEO regulations. Earlier in their career, Tremaine worked in employee and labor relations positions at Continental Casualty Company (CNA), Chrysler Corporation, Jackson Memorial Hospital, University of Chicago, Lockheed Martin Corporation, and the District of Columbia Office of Human Rights.

Tremaine Maebry has a Juris Doctorate degree from Northeastern University School of Law. Tremaine also has a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from the School of Business at Northeastern University, with a focus on Business Administration. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Literature from Southern Connecticut State University. Tremaine has completed coursework in Alternate Dispute Resolution at the Howard University Continuing Education Center.
