Feeding Northeast Florida helps local children and families, seniors and veterans who struggle to put food on the table. Working with local grocery stores, manufacturers and farms, we rescue high-quality food that would normally be wasted and transform it into meals for those in need. 

We connect that food to more than 160 partners and programs within our hunger network, like City Rescue Mission, The Sulzbacher Center and The Salvation Army. These partners are able to provide not only food to those in need, but services that can help these families and individuals end the cycle of poverty, including job training or placement, low-cost childcare, SNAP benefits, medical care, affordable housing and counseling. 

In 2018, Feeding Northeast Florida distributed more than 14 million meals across our eight-county service area.

The Leadership Team at Feeding Northeast Florida spearheads the strategic direction and operational management of the organization. Comprising key executives, including the President and CEO, VP Of Strategic Initiatives, and other vital departmental heads, this team collaborates to establish and implement policies, secure funding, and foster partnerships. Their collective efforts ensure the efficient rescue, distribution, and delivery of nutritious food to the hunger network, while also advocating for policies that address food insecurity and promote community well-being.

The Program and Project Management team at Feeding Northeast Florida oversees the planning, execution, and coordination of various initiatives aimed at combating hunger and food insecurity. This team addresses the logistical and operational aspects of connecting rescued food with over 160 partners and programs within the hunger network. They collaborate closely with local grocery stores, manufacturers, and farms, manage community outreach efforts, advocate for policy changes, and ensure efficient distribution of meals and services to those in need.

Program And Project Management

The Creative and Content team at Feeding Northeast Florida is responsible for developing engaging visual and written materials that tell the organization's story and support its mission. The Graphic Designer creates compelling graphics and promotional materials, while the Grant Writer and Director of Grants & Research collaborate to secure funding opportunities through detailed grant proposals and insightful research. Together, they work to increase awareness, drive donations, and communicate the impact of the organization's efforts to alleviate hunger in the community.

Creative and Content

The Data and Finance Team at Feeding Northeast Florida ensures the efficient management of financial resources and leverages data to optimize food distribution. The Data Analyst gathers and interprets data to improve operational efficiency and resource allocation. The Chief Financial Officer oversees financial strategies, budgets, and reporting, ensuring fiscal responsibility and sustainability. The Accounting Manager handles day-to-day financial transactions, including bookkeeping, payroll, and vendor payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Together, the team supports the organization's mission by providing vital financial and analytical insights.
