Chief Financial Officer at Feeding Tampa Bay

Amy Kern has a solid work experience history, beginning in 2009 as an Accounting Manager with the Sarasota County School Board. Amy then held roles at Metropolitan Ministries, including serving as the Senior Director of Accounting from March 2014 to January 2017, and subsequently as the Chief Financial Officer from January 2017 to August 2021. From August 2021 to July 2022, they worked at Citi as a Senior Vice President. Currently, Amy is the Chief Financial Officer at Feeding Tampa Bay, a position they have held since July 2022.

Amy Kern has a Bachelor's Degree from Southeastern University. Additionally, they hold a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Phoenix, and a Master's Degree in Accounting from the same institution. Amy has also obtained additional certifications, including a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education, obtained in May 2021, and a Tableau Essential Training certification from LinkedIn, obtained in October 2018.

In response to the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, Feeding Tampa Bay has evolved its services by almost doubling its reach to serve 2 million meals weekly, and anticipates it will serve up to 85 million meals this year.
