Feeding Tampa Bay
Rhonda Gindlesperger's work experience includes roles as Chief Operating Officer and Director of Agency Relations & Procurement at Feeding Tampa Bay, where they led strategy for providing nutritious food to communities through various programs and partnerships. Rhonda also served as the Director of Agency Relations & Programs, Agency Services Manager, and Retail Store Coordinator at Feeding Tampa Bay. Prior to that, they worked as a Personal Account Representative at State Farm, where they provided customer service and marketed to potential clients. Additionally, they interned at Akron General Medical Center, assisting with fitness assessments and exercise prescriptions. Rhonda also coached junior high girls basketball at Mogadore Local School District, focusing on teaching fundamental skills and promoting sportsmanship.
Rhonda Gindlesperger's education history begins with their completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Sport and Exercise Science with a concentration in Sports Management from The University of Akron. Rhonda attended the university from 2002 to 2010. Prior to that, Rhonda graduated from Mogadore High School in 2002, where they studied General Studies.
In 2019, Rhonda attended the University of Tampa - John H. Sykes College of Business to complete the Modern Advances in Leadership Certificate Program. This program focused on enhancing their leadership skills.
Most recently, in 2023, Rhonda attended the LevelUp! program to further develop their leadership abilities in the field of Leadership.
Aside from the formal education, Rhonda has also obtained various certifications. In June 2021, they obtained certifications including Food Defense Coordinator, Food Protection for Warehouse and Distribution Centers, and PCQI from AIB International, Inc. In October 2021, Rhonda earned certification from the American Heart Association's American Red Cross. Additionally, in 2019, they participated in the Nonprofit Sustainability Cohort program offered by the Nonprofit Leadership Center.

Feeding Tampa Bay is ending hunger by fueling human potential in every family, child and senior across our 10-county region. By leveraging the daily connection around a meal, the organization is evolving its partnerships, programs and services with a goal to break down barriers and create long-term health and capability in the lives of the individuals it serves. In response to the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, Feeding Tampa Bay has evolved its services by almost doubling its reach to serve 2 million meals weekly, and anticipates it will serve up to 85 million meals this year. Today, Feeding Tampa Bay and its community stand together to lift the families we serve, because food makes tomorrow possible.
