Thomas Mantz

President and CEO at Feeding Tampa Bay

Thomas Mantz has a diverse work experience in various executive roles. Thomas served as the President and CEO of Feeding Tampa Bay since October 2012. Prior to that, they worked as the Chief Operating Officer at Montoya Financial Strategies, where they focused on expanding the business and reducing costs. Additionally, Thomas was the Executive Director at Feeding Northeast Florida, where they successfully increased the distribution of food relief to the community.

Thomas Mantz attended the University of North Florida, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications. Thomas graduated from the New Strategies Program at Georgetown University McDonough School of Business in March 2019. In July 2017, they completed the Strategic Perspectives in Non-Profit Management program at Harvard Business School. Furthermore, in September 2000, they completed the Education for Ministry program at The University of the South.

Feeding Tampa Bay is ending hunger by fueling human potential in every family, child and senior across our 10-county region. By leveraging the daily connection around a meal, the organization is evolving its partnerships, programs and services with a goal to break down barriers and create long-term health and capability in the lives of the individuals it serves. In response to the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, Feeding Tampa Bay has evolved its services by almost doubling its reach to serve 2 million meals weekly, and anticipates it will serve up to 85 million meals this year. Today, Feeding Tampa Bay and its community stand together to lift the families we serve, because food makes tomorrow possible.
