Frédéric Dubut has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Frédéric currently holds the position of Head of Product at Feedly, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Twitter as a Group Product Manager, Trust & Safety from November 2021 to January 2023. In this role, they managed a product team responsible for building technology and processes to ensure user safety on the platform. Before Twitter, Frédéric worked at Microsoft for over a decade, holding several roles. As the Principal PM Manager, Search Ranking & Personalization from October 2017 to October 2021, they led a product team focused on improving search relevance and implementing large language models. During their time as a Senior Product Manager at Xbox Products & Services, they were responsible for various BI, data, and analytics initiatives. Frédéric also served as a Senior Product Manager for the Bing search platform, driving the transition of the Bing crawler into an actual platform used by multiple teams across Microsoft. Frédéric started their career as a Software Engineering Intern at Unified Communications at Microsoft, where they worked on an expert search prototype. Additionally, they have previous experience as a Research Assistant at INRIA Futurs, where they developed a multi-agent simulation for an interest rate market. Frédéric's earlier experience includes working as an Assembly Line Worker at Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., and as an Officer Cadet at the French Ministry of Defense.

Frédéric Dubut earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Economics from École Polytechnique in 2006. Frédéric then pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Science, Management of Technology from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from 2006 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, Frédéric obtained a Data Science Certificate from Microsoft in February 2018 and a Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera in February 2019.
