Ricardo Ferreira

Ricardo Ferreira is a seasoned engineer with over a decade of experience at Feedzai, where the professional has held multiple leadership positions, including Principal Engineer, VP of Engineering, Senior Director of Engineering, and Director of Engineering. Responsibilities include building and scaling engineering teams for critical products such as Feedzai’s Case Management platform, Feedzai Genome, and Feedzai Insights. Ricardo has significantly contributed to the architecture of the core fraud detection product, enabling high availability and fault tolerance, alongside developing a real-time Event Stream Processing engine. Prior roles include positions as a Software Architect and Software Engineer, as well as research work in Event Stream Processing at CISUC. Educational qualifications include MSc degrees in Computer Science from Universidade de Coimbra and Universidad Complutense de Madrid, along with a BSc in Computer Science from Universidade de Coimbra.
