Nick Vanderkwaak

Nick VanderKwaak is a Senior Associate at Fehr & Peers, specializing in multimodal transportation project management since January 2023. Previously, Nick served as a Transportation Project Manager at AECOM from May 2013 to January 2023, where responsibilities included bus rapid transit planning, bicycle and pedestrian connectivity, freight and mobility planning, and technology-based solutions, utilizing a data-driven approach and GIS analysis. Prior experience includes a Transportation Planner role at Fehr & Peers, a Transit Oriented Development Intern at RTD, and positions as a Teaching Assistant and Senior Consultant. Nick holds a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Colorado Denver (2010) and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Dordt University (2003).
