Joe Kent

Joe Kent is the current Software Architect Manager at FELCO Solutions. Joe has been in this position since June of 2018. Prior to that, they were the Engineering Systems Administrator for R&D/Leverage, where they worked for 12 years. Joe has also been a Senior Drafter for SOR Inc., and they have been in the industry for a total of 19 years. Joe has experience working with PTC Creo, PTC PDMLink, PTC Creo View, Dassault SolidWorks, Bricsys BricsCAD, SQL Server, and custom in-house applications. Joe is responsible for system implementation, upgrades, installation of applications and software, and implementation of enhancements and configurations. Joe also monitors applications and systems, and works with the IT Director to identify and resolve issues that impact system and application performance. In addition, they design, implements, and maintains in-house applications using Java and C#. Joe is also responsible for application installation, upgrades, and patching, as well as modifying system and application configurations and settings as required. Joe has also worked with software vendors on support cases and system patching. Joe is a member of PTC technical committees and they resolve system and application issues.

Joe Kent has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Drafting and Mechanical Drafting CAD/CADD from Missouri State University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management from the same school.
