Iva Messy

Iva Messy is the Head of People of Felicis Ventures. She brings over 12 years of experience strategically building out all aspects of the human resources function, driving culture, organizational development, and people strategy.

Prior to Felicis Ventures, Iva led Human Resources at Andreessen Horowitz, a venture capital firm with $10 billion under management. She was previously the VP of Talent at executive search firm Riviera Partners and the Human Resources Manager for Stanford Management Company where she worked for five years. Iva began her HR career working with the Brooklyn Nets. She received a B.A. in Psychology and double minor in Sociology and Women’s Studies, and Iva also earned an MBA in Global Business Management and holds the SPHR (Senior Professional Human Resources) certification.
