Charles Tranquille

Charles Tranquille has worked in the media industry since 2003. Charles began their career as a freelance assistant camera and 2D animator for JADCOM MEDIA CONSEIL. In 2007, they worked as an assistant film editor and special effects for Production J. From 2010 to 2012, they were a programmer, multimedia and audiovisual technician for La Boite numerique. In 2015, they became a lead assistant editor for Salambo Productions. In 2016, they worked as an assistant editor for Peripheria Productions Inc. and as a roto artist and junior compositor for Felix & Paul Studios. During their time at Peripheria Productions Inc., they were responsible for quality control of received media, conforming edits and preparing shots for the compositing department, and cleaning up and organizing audio for the final mix. At Felix & Paul Studios, they were responsible for receiving and synchronizing cameras and audio, classifying footage for use at editorial, and bringing back composited shots into the edit for an online output.

Charles Tranquille completed an AEC in 3D Animation & Special Effects from Institut Grasset between 2008 and 2010. Prior to that, they completed an AEC in Compositing & Special Effects for Digital Video from Institut Grasset between 2004 and 2006. In August 2021, they obtained a Formation de sensibilisation à la cybersécurité from ESET North America.
