Max Röell began their work experience in 2011 as an Acquisition Manager at Juridische Gids/Stichting Dux in Iura. Max then served as an Intern in Employment Law, Taxes & Benefits at Loyens & Loeff in 2015 and as a Legal Assistant in the Intellectual Property Practice at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek from 2015 to 2016. In 2016, Max joined The HEINEKEN Company as a Business Development member at BRASSIVOIRE, where they stayed until 2017. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Brand Manager for Victoire, a new beer brand in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, before moving on to a Business Development role for Sir Joe, a spin-out venture from Vrumona (HEINEKEN) that focuses on making soda's. Max is currently the Head of E-Commerce at felmo, a position they have held since April 2021.

Max Röell's education history begins in 2003 when they attended Gemeentelijk Gymnasium Hilversum for high school. Max pursued an Economics & Social Sciences (E&M) Profile with Advanced Mathematics. After completing high school in 2009, Max attended Anglia Ruskin University from 2009 to 2010, where they obtained their Propaedeutic degree in BA History. Following this, Max enrolled at the University of Amsterdam and simultaneously pursued two bachelor's degrees. From 2010 to 2015, they studied History, and from 2011 to 2015, they pursued a degree in Law. Max's educational journey continued at the University of Amsterdam, where they completed their Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Commercial Private Law from 2015 to 2016.
