Maria Fernandez

Maria (Blanche) Fernandez is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the music and entertainment industry, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer Latin Iberia at Sony Music Entertainment since November 2007. Maria has held various leadership roles within the company, including Executive Vice President and Senior Vice President of Operations and CFO for Latin Iberia. In addition to her tenure at Sony, Maria serves as a Board Member at Fender Musical Instruments Corporation and has a rich background in finance and operations, having owned Huntington Learning Center - Coral Gables and worked at Future Voice LLC, Probiz Solutions, DIRECTV, and The Walt Disney Company. Maria holds an MBA with a concentration in Business Analytics from the University of South Florida St. Petersburg, along with advanced degrees in Business Administration and Finance from UCAB and Universidad Metropolitana (VE), and a Master's in Strategic Management from Universidad de 'San Andrés'.
