David McMahon

David McMahon has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. David began their career as a Civil/Site Engineer at Henry Construction Projects Limited in 2012. Later that year, they became a Civil Engineer/Site Manager at Glenman Corporation Ltd. In 2014, they joined the Marine Institute as a Software Development Intern. In the same year, they also started working at Fenergo as a Software Developer, a role they held until 2017. David then progressed to the position of Senior .NET Developer before transitioning to the role of Principal Engineer from 2018 to 2019. Subsequently, they served as Delivery Head at Fenergo from 2019 to 2022 and was promoted to Director of Engineering until 2023. Currently, David McMahon holds the position of VP of Engineering at Fenergo.

David McMahon began their education at St. Flannans College in Ennis from 2003 to 2008. David then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Engineering degree at the University of Galway between 2008 and 2012, with a specialization in Civil Engineering. After completing their undergraduate studies, David furthered their education at the University of Galway, where they obtained a Higher Diploma in Applied Science in Software Design and Development Industry Stream from 2013 to 2014. Following this, they pursued a Masters of Science in Software Design and Development from 2014 to 2015, also at the University of Galway. In December 2016, David obtained the certification MS: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 from Microsoft.
