Michael Somich, MBA, PMP

Michael Somich, MBA, PMP has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Michael is currently working as a Project Manager at Fenix Group, Inc. Michael previously worked at Sprint as a Project Manager, where they managed the planning, scheduling, testing, and integration of new sites and channel expansions for LTE FDD and TDD network. Michael was also responsible for coordinating outsourced vendors to support Sprint's expansion programs. Before that, Michael worked at AT&T as a Project Manager, overseeing various projects.

Prior to their time at AT&T, they worked at T-Mobile as a Senior RF Engineer, responsible for the design and optimization of GSM, UMTS, and LTE networks in the Nashville, Louisville, and Knoxville markets. Michael also worked at Orange Belgium as a Senior Radio Planner, completing the initial design and site approval for more than 200 Node B sites and providing final radio approval and site configurations.

Michael's earlier experience includes working at T-Mobile as a Senior RF Engineer, where they focused on GSM radio network optimization and completed radio parameter data transcript through the Ericsson OSS. Michael also worked at Ericsson as an RF Engineer, as well as Siemens as a Radio Planning Manager and Radio Planning Supervisor. At Siemens, they managed a group of engineers responsible for the design, optimization, and site selection/approval of UMTS networks in Portugal and the Czech Republic.

Prior to their time at Siemens, Michael worked at Lucent Technologies as a Senior Radio Planner. Michael holds an MBA and PMP certification.

Michael Somich, MBA, PMP has a diverse education history. Michael began their academic journey in 1983 at the Community College of the Air Force, where they obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences - AAS degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business Management from Colorado Technical University, which they completed between 2008 and 2009.

In 2010, Michael furthered their education by enrolling in the University of Phoenix, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General, in 2011.

Besides their degrees, Michael has also obtained additional certifications throughout their career. In 1983, they acquired a General Radiotelephone Operator License from the Federal Communications Commission. Later, in 2009, they successfully completed the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
