Pasi Laaksonen

Pasi Laaksonen has extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Pasi is currently serving as the Chief Insurance Officer at Fennia. Prior to this, they worked at LähiTapiola as the Chief Actuary for Life Insurance, where they were responsible for various actuarial functions. Pasi also held several roles at OP Financial Group, including Director of Group Control, Head of Finance and Risk Management at OP Life Assurance, Chief Actuary at OP Life Assurance, and Senior Vice President of Corporate Planning and Investor Relations. Additionally, they have experience at If P&C Insurance, Sampo Industrial Insurance, Industrial Insurance, and Nokia. Pasi Laaksonen has also pursued self-employment, particularly in the areas of cycling and cross-country skiing.

Pasi Laaksonen pursued their education from 1993 to 1997 at the University of Turku, where they completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Applied Mathematics. Following this, in 1998 and 1999, they obtained the Qualifed Actuary certification from SHV.
