Maxence Valla has a diverse work experience in the field of research and development. Maxence started their career as an Intern at DSM, working in Catalysis and Explorative Research Labs. Maxence then pursued their academic journey at ETH Zurich, where they served as a Teaching Assistant and completed their PhD in Chemistry, focusing on heterogeneous Re-based alkene metathesis catalysts. During their time at ETH Zurich, Maxence also worked on a Master Research Thesis. After completing their doctoral studies, Maxence joined ARLANXEO as a Research Scientist, specializing in Catalysis and Explorative Research. Maxence later moved on to Johnson Matthey, where they held roles such as R&D Manager and Global R&D Program Manager, focusing on Technical Materials. Maxence'smost recent position was as a Senior Technical Manager at FENZI Official. Currently, Maxence works as the R&D Director at FENZI Official.
Maxence Valla received their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Inorganic Chemistry from ETH Zürich, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Catalysis and physical chemistry from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 in 2012. Maxence Valla completed their undergraduate studies in Chemical Engineering at CPE Lyon from 2008 to 2012. Maxence began their academic journey with a Classe preparatoire in PCSI/PC at Institution des Chartreux from 2006 to 2008.
