Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative solutions and educational technology. Currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris contributes to the development of hardware for DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Prior roles include firmware engineering at SMART Technologies, where Chris developed firmware and diagnostic tools, and electronics contracting at Science Alberta Foundation, focusing on electronics design for educational devices. Additional experience includes serving as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary and working as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, specializing in control systems for forestry harvester units. Chris holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
