B. Murphy, CEM has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Starting in 1982, Murphy worked as an Assistant Director and Employment Specialist at Utah OIC, where they provided vocational training and employment services for economically disadvantaged clients. From 1988 to 1991, Murphy worked as an Existing Business Liaison at the Economic Development Corporation of Utah.
Moving into the banking industry, Murphy took on various roles, starting as an SBA Business Development Officer at Guardian State Bank from 1991 to 1994. They then worked as a Vice President and Corporate Sales Representative at Zions Bank from 1994 to 1999, where they successfully marketed banking products and developed new business opportunities.
Murphy then transitioned to US Bank as a Vice President in Private Financial Services from 1999 to 2000, followed by a stint at Washington Mutual Bank as an SBA Business Development Officer from 2002 to 2005.
In 2005, Murphy joined Modern Exposition Services as the Manager of Business Development & Community Relations, and in 2008, they moved to Fern Exposition Services as the Senior National Sales Manager. Throughout their career, Murphy has demonstrated strong sales, business development, and marketing skills.
B. Murphy, CEM completed the CEM Learning Program from 2012 to 2013, earning a CEM Certificate in Exhibits Management. B. Murphy also attended the Krakoff Leadership Institute in 2011 to study Leadership Practices. Additionally, B. Murphy obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Ramapo College of New Jersey, graduating between 1973 and 1977. Furthermore, B. Murphy has obtained certification in First Aid/CPR from the American Red Cross in July 2013.
