Chisato Fujii

Chisato Fujii has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. In 2010, Chisato was a team member at BookSpark.org, where they participated in the Microsoft Imagine Cup '11 NZ competition. From 2013, Chisato worked as a web developer at Zing Design. In 2009, Chisato joined Kiwibank as a developer and stayed there until 2012. Chisato then worked as a remote software engineer at Metail from 2015 to 2019. In 2019, Chisato joined Heetch as a senior backend engineer and continued in that role until 2021. Currently, Chisato is working as a senior Golang developer at FerretDB, starting in October 2022. In addition to these positions, Chisato also worked as a remote software engineer and a self-employed software engineer in 2018.

Chisato Fujii pursued their education by first completing a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) with First Class Honours in Network Engineering from Victoria University of Wellington from 2008 to 2011. Chisato then furthered their studies at KAUST (King Abdullah University of Science and Technology) from 2013 to 2015, earning a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science.
