Mette Jacobsen

Director, Global Compliance, ELAC & Global Functions at Ferring Pharmaceuticals

Mette Jacobsen has a diverse and extensive work experience. Mette is currently the Director of Global Compliance, ELAC, and Global Functions at Ferring Pharmaceuticals. Prior to that, they worked at Lundbeck as a Global Compliance Officer and Global Compliance Advisor, where they led various compliance-related initiatives and acted as an investigator and auditor. Mette also spent time at PwC UK, where they worked on pharmaceutical and medical device assignments, focusing on compliance and ethics projects. Mette had previous experience at PwC Danmark as a Manager and Senior Consultant, working on business ethics frameworks, compliance programs, and risk management projects. Mette also worked at Chr. Hansen A/S on a CSR project and at Userneeds as a Consultant. Mette started their career at Beskæftigelses og Integrationsforvaltningen, Økonomikontoret as an Analysis Assistant, where they developed key performance indicators and a balanced scorecard for management decision-making.

Mette Jacobsen completed their education from 2005 to 2010. Mette obtained a Bachelor's degree in HA-psykologi from Copenhagen Business School in 2008. Mette then pursued a Master's degree in Accounting Strategy and Control from Copenhagen Business School, which they completed in 2010. Additionally, in 2009, they attended Portland State University for an MBA in Sustainable Enterprises. Mette Jacobsen also holds several certifications, including IRCA Certified Lead Auditor from ISO-ACADEMY ApS in 2017, and PRINCE2 - Practitioner and PRINCE2 - Foundation from APMG-International in 2013.
