Atsushi Baba

Atsushi Baba has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Atsushi started their career in 1999 as an Engineer at Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, where they conducted research and development for thermal engineering projects. Atsushi performed thermal analysis and tests for electronic and mechanical sub-components, as well as worked on the development of small-sized mechanical pumps. In 2004, they took on the role of Engineering Project Manager, overseeing the design, manufacture, test, launch, and operation of satellite systems. Atsushi was responsible for system, mechanical, and safety engineering, as well as ensuring timely delivery. Atsushi joined Hult International Business School in 2010 and completed their MBA program in 2011. Since 2011, they have been associated with Ferrotec, initially as a Product Development Project Manager, and later as a Product Manager. In 2017, they were promoted to the position of Sales Manager, where they excelled in sales and business development of advanced ceramics products. Atsushi managed major semiconductor OEM accounts and led a team in sales and customer service. Currently, they hold the position of Assistant General Manager at Ferrotec, starting in August 2022.

Atsushi Baba has a diverse educational background. Atsushi received a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kyushu University in 1997. Atsushi then pursued further education at the same institution, completing a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from 1997 to 1999. Afterward, Atsushi Baba enrolled in Kyushu University again to pursue a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, although the specific start and end dates for this program are not provided. In 2002, they attended the International Space University for a brief period, where they focused on various subjects such as Space Science, Space Engineering, Systems Engineering, Space Policy and Law, Business and Management. Finally, in 2010, Atsushi Baba attended Hult International Business School, where they obtained an MBA in Business.
