Fernando Hernandez Alvarez

Fernando Hernandez Alvarez has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Fernando began their career as a Becario at ENRESA SA in 2007, where they worked for two months. Following this, they joined Secuware as a Becario for a period of four months in 2008. In 2009, they joined Deloitte as an ERS Technology Risk Consultant, where they managed teams and worked on IT risk projects for international bank entities. After three years at Deloitte, Fernando joined Ferrovial in 2012 as an IT Auditor. Fernando later became the Head of IT audit in February 2018.

Fernando Hernandez Alvarez holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Telecomunicaciones from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, which they earned from 2010 to 2015. Fernando also has a degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Biomedical Electrical Engineering and Communication Systems from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, obtained between 2007 and 2009. Additionally, they have a degree in Ingeniero Técnico Superior de Telecomunicaciones with a specialization in Comunicaciones from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, completed from 2003 to 2009. Fernando has also obtained certifications in Coaching and Developing Employees and Learning from Failure from LinkedIn in 2020.
