James Pape

James Pape is a Senior Geologist at Fervo Energy since August 2025, concentrating on geologic modeling and drillwell execution for the Cape Station EGS project. Previously, Pape served at ExxonMobil for nearly 15 years, where roles included Geoscience Technical Team Lead and Geoscientist, focusing on exploration opportunities in the Stabroek block in the Guyana basin, and supporting the Bacalhau field in Brazil through seismic interpretation and development planning. James Pape's academic background includes a Master of Science in Geology from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from The University of Texas at Austin.
