Aitor Martín Odriozola

Aitor Martín Odriozola has a diverse range of work experience in the medical and research fields. Aitor began their career as a physiotherapy assistant and later became a physiotherapist for the 1st ice hockey team at C.H.H. Txuri-Urdin I.H.T. Aitor also worked as a physical therapist for Real Sociedad de Fútbol S.A.D. and ATHLON S. COOP., specializing in the treatment of back and cervical pain.

In terms of research, Aitor worked as a research student in the electrophysiology laboratory of the Pharmacology Department at the University of the Basque Country. Aitor conducted research projects in the area of Neuropsychopharmacology, studying the effects of different drugs on brain electrical activity in animal models. Aitor was also a researcher in the Physical Therapy Area of the Department of Physiology, focusing on cervical pathology.

Aitor has also gained experience in clinical applications management at Fesia Technology, a company that develops medical devices for the rehabilitation of people with neurological diseases. Aitor is currently working as a clinical applications manager and clinical director at Fesia Technology and Fesia Clinic, respectively.

Aitor Martín Odriozola's education history begins in 2016 when they enrolled at the Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea to pursue a degree in Physical Therapy, which they completed in 2020. During this time, they also obtained certifications in German (B2 level) from the Goethe-Institut e.V. in June 2016, English (B2 level) from the University of Cambridge in April 2016, and Basque (C1 level) from HABE in December 2015.

After completing their undergraduate degree, Aitor continued their studies at the same university and obtained a specialization mention in Physical Therapy in Aging and Ergonomics from 2018 to 2020. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Neurosciences from 2020 to 2021. Currently, Aitor is enrolled in a Doctorado en Neurociencias (Doctorate in Neuroscience) program at the Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea, which they are expected to complete in 2033.
