Bert Magnuson

Bert Magnuson currently serves as the Sr. Director of Merchandising for General Merchandise and Health and Beauty Care at Festival Foods since February 2013. Previously, Bert held various merchandising roles, including Merchandising-Apparel at BJ's Wholesale Club from April 2010 to February 2013 and Merchandising-Home at Sears from March 2009 to April 2010. Bert's extensive experience also includes serving as VP/DMM at Shopko from 2004 to 2008, where a lifestyle approach to business was successfully launched, and at BJ's Wholesale Club from August 1993 to 2004 with oversight of multiple categories. Early career highlights include significant roles as a Men's Buyer at Steinbach's and Jordan Marsh-Federated Department Stores, with notable achievements in driving sales and maximizing product volume. Bert began a career in retail through an Executive Training Program at Jordan Marsh-Allied Stores, progressing to a Buying position. Bert holds a B.S. in Business Administration-Marketing from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.
