Roberto W. Ortiz

Roberto W. Ortiz has over 20 years of experience in finance roles within the hospitality industry. Starting as a Financial Controller at The Ritz-Carlton, they later moved on to roles such as Director of Finance at Renaissance Hotels and Multi-Property Director of Finance at Marriott Hotels. Roberto W. then took on various leadership positions at Marriott International, eventually becoming Vice President of Finance. Currently, they are the CFO for Palace Entertainment, overseeing the financial performance of multiple leisure parks in the US and Australia. Throughout their career, Roberto has demonstrated strong financial acumen and strategic leadership, successfully achieving profit and growth targets while maximizing returns for stakeholders.

Roberto W. Ortiz obtained a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1989. Roberto W. then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Accounting and Finance at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst - Isenberg School of Business from 1995 to 1997. In 2018, they received Advance Certifications in Hotel and Real Estate Investments and Capital Markets from Cornell University (SC Johnson College of Business). Finally, in 2019, they completed an Advance Certification in Executive Leadership in Management at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (Kenan-Flagler School of Business).
