Sandro Gomes Soares

Sandro Gomes Soares is a Senior Research Scientist at Fetch.ai Network since September 2022 and a Visiting Investigator and Research Associate at the University of Cambridge since November 2018, focusing on fungal immune evasion and Toll-like receptor transport mechanisms. Previously, Sandro served as a Senior Visiting Professor at Universidade Federal de São Paulo, where new topics on vaccines and therapeutic antibodies were introduced into the Biotechnology program. Sandro co-founded Invent Biotecnologia, overseeing strategic planning, and FastBio Ltda, a spin-off from Invent Biotecnologia. Sandro's academic journey includes postdoctoral roles at Faculdade de Medicina de Ribeirão Preto and the University of Cambridge, and teaching experience in immunology for veterinary students. Sandro holds a PhD in Applied Immunology from USP and advanced degrees in Immunogenetics and Biology from UENF.
