Alec Stashevsky

Alec Stashevsky has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and research. Alec began their career as a Data Scientist Intern at KWM Wealth Advisory in July 2019. Alec then worked as a Data Scientist at Kyrgies, where they were involved in unspecified projects in 2019. In November 2019, they joined The Cadmus Group as a Research Analyst, focusing on designing and evaluating demand-side management programs. In 2020, Alec worked at NERA Economic Consulting as a Research Associate, conducting statistical modeling and economic analysis for high-stakes litigation cases. Alec also served as an Associate Analyst at NERA, where they built algorithms and financial models to estimate damages and predict the performance of complex financial instruments. Alec's most recent position is at Fetch, where they are employed as an Applied Scientist. Alec'sresponsibilities there include researching, developing, and implementing systems to extract real-time information from consumer transactions using computer vision and natural language processing.

Alec Stashevsky holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Mathematics-Economics from Reed College. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications, including Machine Learning Engineering for Production (MLOps) from Coursera in May 2022, and Machine Learning from Coursera in October 2019. Alec also holds certifications as a Computer Nitrox Diver from SDI in June 2012 and as a Rescue SCUBA Diver from PADI in June 2011.
