Amy completed their degree in Interior Design and graduated in 2001. After a few years, in 2004, Amy enrolled at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock to expand their academic qualifications. Amy obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, specifically in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, which they completed in 2006.

In addition to their formal education, Amy has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2004, they achieved the National Council of Interior Designers Qualifications from the NCIDQ Examination. Continuing their professional development, Amy obtained the Sales Advantage certification from Dale Carnegie in June 2008. Undergoing further training, they received the Certificate of Proficiency in Qualitative Research from the Burke Institute in August 2012. Amy's most recent certification, the VisualStory Workshop, was obtained from Duarte, Inc. in April 2016.
